Neohesperidin
Neohesperidin is a flavonoid glycoside found naturally in citrus fruits, particularly bitter orange (Citrus aurantium), and belongs to the hesperidin family. Although neohesperidin has a bitter taste in its natural state, it can be effectively used as a sweetener or bitter masking agent after enzymatic or other process modification, especially in the production of sugar-free, low-calorie or "diet" products.
